Although REFA ONE is traditionally known as an accomplished street calligrapher and muralist, his sensual photography adds a layer of depth and dimension to a body of work usually associated with a political sting.  By blending suggestive and evocative fetishes with a peculiar HipHop sensibility, Refa is able to compliment a woman's sultry energy in a sexy, sassy and tasteful manner.  By employing unconventional mediums such as ornate frames and vintage hosiery packages, Refa is able to further engage the viewer through word play and voyeurism.  As a result, the presentation of Refa's photographs can be as provocative as the imagery. Refa's work has also been featured in "Sabrosa," his erotic photography exhibit at Good Vibrations in Berkeley. Refa has served as a panel member for Bay Area Women of Color BDSM Photo Project discussions as well.   refa1@hotmail.com   Sabrosa Photography
